Living up to their promise of providing the 'finest funky rhythm and blues' the trio presents an energetic cross-section of all kinds of blues on a surprising array of instruments.
The Hammond B3 organ of Markus Lauer aka Funky B, with which he also plays bass, takes pride of place. With decades of experience as a blues man Lauer has also played alongside many of the international greats of the blues scene
Carsten Egger aka Shuffle King Car is a guitarist who is equally at home playing live or in the studio. He is also a producer and responsible for the latest CD 'GREEN ONIONS RELOADED!'. With Lauer he shares the songwriting and leadvocals.
Drummer Jörg Mattern aka Shuffle King Matt has travelled throughout Europe on concert tours since the 70s. He has also found time along the way to perform on stage and in the recording studios and has teamed up with a whole host of other artists. As third voice he completes the striking harmony vocals.
The music of the trio is brought to life by the constant interaction of the musicians with each other and with the audience. A unique and explosive mixture with ecstatic solo passages. It extends the limits of traditional blues with jazz, funk and rock.
